This afternoon, we began our Earth Week celebration with Project Recycle. Each pod team created an outfit for Mrs. Wall. Mrs. Wall then modeled each outfit during this afternoon's fashion show. The winning ensemble will be worn at tonight's PTA Earth Day Dance.

Week of 4/8
Happy fourth quarter! We hope everyone had a wonderful Spring Break. As the new (and final) quarter begins, we begin many new projects in room 310. In math we have begun our final unit - Measurement & Data. We are learning about area, perimeter, best tools/units to use in a given situation, and converting between different units of measure. In addition, we continue to work on building our fact fluency, problem solving, and communication skills. In literacy, we are working on writing a good persuasive/argumentative writing piece. We are working on identifying important details, versus interesting details, when reading. We are also reviewing identifying cause and effect in a text. In inquiry, we are researching ways in which humans impact the water cycle.
4/9/13 Ms. Lee-Palmer from MMSD, taught us about water and how water is cleaned.
